Simply Amazing

Every time I start to get frustrated, every time I’m feeling impatient, every time I let myself get carried away and think too far in the future, I look back on how far we’ve come. I read early posts from this blog, and look back through the many photos that were taken in those overwhelmingly frightening early days. It’s easy to only see the fat Princess Chub we’ve come to love, and put out of our minds just how small and fragile and fetal she was not so long ago.

I like the chub version better.

Then and now.

On the left, Nyana the day after she was born. On the right, days away from three months old.

About Mrs. B

Mum to a 27-weeker with severe lung disease, finally home where she belongs after 222 long days in the NICU. Wife to the best man ever. Live with 2 cats in a West End apartment. When I'm not tending to Babygirl at home, I'm puttering in my kitchen pretending not to be a foodie.
