It’s been quiet in Nyanaland for the past week or two. Quiet is good. It will stay quiet until a week or two following her surgery, when we finally assess her new normal and make a plan towards discharge from there.
Despite the silence on the medical front, Nyana’s done a very good job of being amazing and awesome on the cuteness front. See for yourself.

I loooove the picture of her and her mobile! She’s doing amazing with those little hands, Raiden has just started really trying to reach for things like that, so fun to watch!

Nyana’s soul sister Lucy just sent her one of those! It’s in the laundry right now — hospitals don’t like plush toys, so we need to bend the rules a bit to be allowed to have it. She’s not quite big enough to grasp the concept yet (no pun intended, lol) but she’s going to love it when we bring it in for her!
Does she have redish hair? Oh she just grows even cuter every day! (If that is possible)
It is reddish, Twiggs! We’re hoping it’ll grow in a super copper/strawberry blonde, with those gorgeous blue eyes…
