Hello, Everyone! I just wanted to give you all an update on how the last couple days have gone, as most of you know that things have been pretty busy around here lately. As you know by now, Mum and Dad got to stay with me for a couple of days here in the hospital. We got our own room, and all the doctors and nurses left us alone for a whole 48 hours! It was really cool, they let us stay upstairs with all the big kids, and I got to see some really fun parts of the hospital. Mum and Dad kept worrying over me, but in the end I think we had a really good time. I know I sure did. When I went to sleep they were there and when I woke up they were there! It’s kinda weird now that they’re not here now – I was just starting to get used to them being around all day long – but they said they had to go get some things ready for Operation: Bring Babygirl Home, whatever that means. But we did have a whole two days together and I have to say they were the best two days of my whole entire stay here! We went for walks and we played silly games and sang silly songs, it was a lot of fun. Mum and Dad are busy right now trying to write it all out so they don’t forget anything, and they told me that I could post some of my favourite pictures for now, to show you how much fun we had. So here goes.
We had a few photo shoots this weekend – there were times those two wouldn’t put the camera down! I’m like, “Hellloooo, I’m right here!”. They just didn’t get it, always taking pictures with that stupid red light on the front. So lame. At least one of them was fun – here’s my favourite strip.
So there you go, a few pics to tide you over until Mum and Dad can tell you their side of the story. Suffice it to say, we had an absolutely fantabulous time this weekend and I can’t wait until all the final details are done with and I can go be with them 24 hours a day, all the time. Not that I don’t like the nurses and hospital staff – they’re great beyond great – but I just know now who I’m supposed to be with and I can’t wait to go be with them all the time now. They tell me it’s soon but as always I’m just going to take it one day at a time. But I think…I might finally be ready…the question is – are they?
Mum and Dad are great! Glad you got 24/7 lovin’ from them this weekend Nyana!. You are a super cute little one!
Hi Ny! It sounds like you had a great weekend!! Yay! You’ll be going home soon. It was very nice to hear from you. =)
That pretty smile tells it all, Ny!
Great post, Nyana! Mums and Dads always seem to take lots of pictures. You might as well try to get used to it. Someday when you are a big girl you will be able to look back on these shots are hardly believe you were ever that small.
Hi Ny! Your pictures are beautiful! Our Mom talks about you a lot and tells people about the little girl she knows (but doesn’t really know). We can’t wait to hear stories of the day you get to go home. And we know your Mum and Dad will be so proud to walk out of that hospital and take you home! You’ve come a long way, and it’s only gonna get better from here! Love from your wee army- Chloe & Naomi
You are such a curious little goober Ny! Just wait until you can tell us all about how grass feels between your toes, your first walk on the seawall and summertime in the city!
lookit you sitting like a big girl, good job princess!
Absolutely wonderful photo montage, Nyana! Oh, and if you had the same weather we had down here Saturday, wasn’t it gorgeous! Our entire town was in rapture over a bit of sun and warmth. It was a great gift for the day you got halfway sprung to go out into the world for a spin around.
Super-informative report, Nyana! I think you come by your talents naturally since Mum and Dad are really good writers. And looking at these latest pictures, I think you will be really happy that you got your Mum’s beautiful lips..
I can tell that you get lots of comfort from these two. Love the way you are holding on fast in the picture with your Dad.
So many great pictures. Thanks for letting us know how it went from your viewpoint.
Nyana, you are one lucky girl. Your parents are great, beyond great and I know they can’t wait to get you home. And I love your pictures! You are Miss Photogenic!
You are doing so great Nyana! Keep up the smiles for mom and dad and try not to tire them out too much. There is so much waiting for you when you get home, especially people you haven’t seen in a while!
If you think that was fun, just wait until you get home! Hours of fun and comfy stuff everywhere to lay/play on.
Nyana!!! Thank you for the great report and all the fine pictures of you and your mum and dad! Wow, you are getting so big and if you didn’t have your “tackle” I don’t think anyone would ever guess you came too early! Can’t wait to hear you’re home for good! We will all celebrate that day!
Thank you little Ladybug for this beautiful pictoral expose ~ you are truly as beautiful as your second name, Rose!! Thank you also for being so kind to Mum and Dad and not wearing them out too much on their trial run with you ~ save all of the “good stuff” for when you do get home. We all know that you have been on your best behavior while in the hospita lbut once you get home you can then show them who you really are!! I can’t wait to hear all about your hi-jinks and little surprises you are bound to throw at them. Again, thank you for your patience in sitting so adorably in all of these pictures.
As Robert Munsch says, “Love you forever, love you for always!”
